oh, i wouldn't say that the only reason for my ongoing correspondence is because we're both amateur, overly self-critical artists, far from it actually. it's purely because i really like your work.

i think your anthro art is the only athro art i can truly enjoy, your characters leap to life in ways that most just don't. it's original and emotive. your non-anthro art i can also relate to on a very close level, it's as though a lot of what you draw has tapped straight into portions of my brain and been let loose onto paper.

and, yeah, being overly critical of your own work does help too.
